Stay Current on Grand Turk
The Grand Turk Cruise Center is a world-class, beachfront cruise facility set within nearly 18 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds. Thanks to the island’s geography, vessels enjoy a safe approach and berthing year-round, with a brief 390-foot walk from the docked ships to the cruise center. Here, guests can enjoy a swim in one of the Caribbean’s largest pools, relax in a complimentary chaise lounge, or rent a private poolside cabana for the day. Beach rentals are available, including clam shell shades for chairs, floats, and snorkeling equipment. Snorkelers can explore sunken Reef Balls that attract fish and view 18th-century cannons and anchors submerged just off the beach, creating a unique underwater experience.
For a more relaxed setting, South Beach offers a quieter area to unwind. The Beached Whale Bar & Grill, located on South Beach, offers a true island dining experience with a menu of local favorites such as Coconut Shrimp, Cracked Conch, Conch Fritters, Island Seafood Chowder, and daily fish specials. For guests in need of some island pampering, beachside massages are available to help melt away any remaining tension.
The cruise center also hosts the Caribbean’s largest Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville, with a bar, restaurant, and retail shop. Adjacent to Margaritaville is the FlowRider surfing attraction, a one-of-a-kind experience in a cruise facility. Guests can try bodyboarding or the more challenging stand-up riding on high-speed waves that roll over a cushioned surface, providing thrills for participants and entertainment for spectators.
Shopping enthusiasts will enjoy a 45,000 sq. ft. shopping area, which includes a 10,000 sq. ft. Dufry duty free shop, and 35,000 sq. ft. of jewelry stores, apparel, local crafts, and food and beverage outlets. Some of the featured shops include Effy Jewelers, Goodmark Jewelers, Ron Jon Surf Shop, Piranha Joe, and local favorites like the Dizzy Donkey, Tingalayo, Silver Sun, and Island Outfitters. The port also offers a local craft market, the Beached Whale Bar, Bon Ice Cream, and even a Starbucks, ensuring a variety of options for all visitors.
